Color Converter
Convert between HEX, RGB and HSL with live preview
How to Use
When writing CSS you constantly juggle three color formats: mockups come in HEX, opacity tweaks need RGBA, and theme palettes are easier in HSL. Enter any one format here and get the other two instantly, with a live color preview.
How to use: type a color value into any field (e.g. #2563eb, rgb(37,99,235) or hsl(221,83%,53%)) and the others sync automatically. Click "Copy" next to a swatch to grab the value. All conversion happens locally in your browser.
FAQ
What's the difference between the three formats?
HEX is the compact hexadecimal form (#RRGGBB). RGB uses red/green/blue channel values (0-255) and is handy for adding alpha. HSL describes hue, saturation and lightness, which is most intuitive for palette tweaks. All three represent the same colors.
Does it support alpha (RGBA/HSLA)?
The current version converts opaque colors between the three formats. For transparency, add an alpha value to the RGB output manually, e.g. rgba(37,99,235,0.5).
Is the color value uploaded?
No. Conversion is computed entirely in your browser with no network requests.
