Base64 to Image
Paste code to preview and download
How to Use
Got Base64 image data from an API and want to see what it is? Pulled a Data URI from a web page and need the actual image file? Paste the code here for an instant preview and download.
How to use: paste a full Data URI (starting with data:image/...;base64,) or a raw Base64 string; the tool detects the format and shows a preview with dimensions and type. Click "Download" to save the file. Decoding runs locally — your data is never uploaded.
FAQ
What if it says the input can't be recognized?
Check: 1) whether the copy was complete — Base64 strings are long and easily truncated; 2) whether line breaks or spaces got mixed in (paste into an editor to clean first); 3) for raw Base64, whether it's actually image data rather than something else.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Decoding and preview run entirely in your browser — the Base64 content is never sent to any server.
What determines the downloaded file's format?
The format encoded in the Base64 data itself (PNG/JPG/GIF/WebP, etc.). The tool restores it as-is without recompression or conversion, so quality matches the original.
