How to Use

Resizing changes the pixel dimensions of an image: avatars must fit a platform's exact requirement, product listings need uniform thumbnails, and mockups often need a 50% scale. The tool reads the original size automatically and scales precisely; while "lock aspect ratio" is on, editing one side recalculates the other so nothing gets stretched. The 25%, 50% and 75% buttons scale from the original size in one click.

How to use: pick an image, set the width and height, choose PNG, JPEG or WebP output, then press the resize button for an instant preview, file size and download link. Scaling runs on the Canvas in your browser — nothing is uploaded and there is no usage limit. Upscaling small images loses detail, so downscale when possible; to also shrink the file size, pair this with the image compressor.

FAQ

Why do enlarged images look blurry?

Resizing interpolates the pixels that already exist; enlargement cannot invent detail that was never captured, so big images look soft. Start from the highest-resolution original you have and scale down instead of up whenever possible.

How does the aspect ratio lock work?

While the lock is checked, typing a width recalculates the height from the original image's proportions, and the other way around, so the picture never stretches. Uncheck it to set width and height independently, which changes the proportions.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing happens locally through the Canvas in your browser, so image data never leaves your device. There is no account, no login and no limit.
